Effects of Plant Growth Regulators on Quality, Quantity and Vase-life of Rose flower (Rosa hybrida cv. Avalanche)

An experiment was conducted to find the appropriate material for increasing quantitative and qualitative traits in pre, postharvest vase-life of cut rose flower cv. “Avalanche” a hydroponic greenhouse based on randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 16 treatments 3 replications. Treatments included gibberellic acid at four levels (0, 100, 200, 300 ppm) salicylic 150, 200 ppm). The foliar application carried out before harvest tree time intervals 10 days. results showed that had significant effect qualitative, quantitative, vase life. highest stem diameter (6.08 mm), length (55.90 number branches per plant (6.53 plant) obtained from T4 (300 ppm acid). life (7 days) recorded T5 (150 acid), more water absorption higher relative fresh weight. T3 (200 acid) maximum (36.33 T16 + longest (74.37 cm). desired growth regulators different concentrations were able increase flower.
